Code of ethics

Zpravodaj Hnědé uhlí, as a professional magazine, seeks to select and publish high-quality original research articles in the fields of study related to the mining industry, which are reviewed and published on a high professional level. In order to achieve this objective, the entire process of the evaluation of the quality of professional articles and the decision on their publication in the magazine should be careful, objective and fair. The professional level of the magazine depends largely on the confidence of all participants in a fair procedure of the peer review and the publication of professional articles. The Code of ethics outlines the guidelines for the moral behaviour of authors, reviewers and members of the Editorial Board (and the editors) to build the trust between all participants and to reach a high professional quality of the magazine. The Code is designed and proposed to include a comprehensive policy for the review procedure and the publication ethics in compliance with this objective. The Code describes the policy of the magazine publisher to ensure the ethical behaviour of all participants in the review and publication process. The authors, reviewers, members of the Editorial Board and editorial staff are recommended to pay careful attention to compliance with these guidelines.
